Courage

With his back to the sea and tears in his eyes
He looks up to the dark florescent night sky
A gentle breeze was made as he hit his knees
There isolated on this beach he prayed.."Lord please..."
He prayed for those he harmed in his life
He prayed for the death of his lovely wife
Cried out in anguish as he remembered that dreadful day
And ever since that day he's been in such disarray
As he wiped away his tears that we're pooling in the sand
Finally got enough strength to point towards the Heavens with open hands
And prayed for one final thing..he said "Lord please bless me at another dawn...
With the courage...to go on"
