Courage

Going through obstacles of all sorts. Not even holding that famous torch. People do it
everyday. From standing up to a bully at school, or even saving a child from a pool. Courage
comes in many different shapes, colors, and size. This word shows no discrimination when it
comes to mind. Courage is my great- grandmother. I love her and she cannot be compared
to any other. She taught to hold on and grit my teeth to the end. Also, not be selfish to family
or friends. I hold these things and many others I hold dear. Even though my great-
grandmother has since left this earth I know she’s near. Watching me and praying that I
keep holding strong. God is with me and I’m not alone. Keep on going, that’s what she would
say to me, and by God you will have the victory.
