Counting Sheep and Poems

Walking fine lines
With rough rhymes
Not running after
Mega bucks dollar signs
Talking to that lazy duck
Father time
Hit the snooze button
To my nine O'clock alarm chime

Sleepy realms still swirling in my head
Bikini dreams surfing on my water bed
Days like this make me grateful
To be alive and not dead
Starting to smell roasted coffee
Bacon and toasted bread
I'm greeted by a country breakfast spread
