Counting Colors

When you look around you,
what colors do you see?
Can you name more than three,
shall I point out a few?
I see a golden sun
against a sky of blue.
White is an easy one
when clouds come into view.
Grass grows emerald green,
and sand is beige or brown.
Water runs clear when clean;
grey stones lie all around.
A monarch butterfly
flaps orange and black wings.
And a jade fly darts by
as I spy other things.
A yellow bumblebee
lands on a purple bud.
And tan twigs on a tree
hold cherries red as blood.
Now, it's your turn to play
"count the colors you see."
So Kids, what do you say,
can you spot more than me?
