Notes About The Poem

Count the Stars

I go outside and count the stars in the black night.
Their twinkling beauty amazes me in the moonlight.
I forget my troubles, as I gaze up at the sky.
It reminds me God is in control, and has me in his eye.

Thanks Mike. I suppose I could have expounded, but that is all I wanted to say.

I love the stars in the skies of West Texas - they each look like a diamond platter. Thank you for the memory.

Thank you Sunlite. The stars in rural New Hampshire are also spectacular.
