Could'Ve Left Your Pictures
Mind cluttered thoughts, I gasp
Chasing idolized memories of your lips
Once red as tender wines
Now fading like linens
Pursuing thoughts of your eyes
Portraits of perfection engraved in your complexion
How could I let such art escape my mind
Your caramel skin I wish to taste again
My tongue yearns to travel the curves and joys of such a delicacy
Tears mock my soul as I look at an empty frame
Memories deride my mind as your face begins to fade
You could’ve left your picture
