Could This Be Love?

What is it we look for, Besides inside ourselves

What is it we find, When we are not looking

What is it we seek, That never adds up

What is it we give, That's constantly abused

What is it received, A vulnerable use

What is it I feel, Each and every day

What is it I don't get, That I 'm afraid to say

What is it I hear, But cannot accept

What is it I fear, So badly inside

What is it I see, But never invite

What is it we need, To feel so complete

What else in this world could this possibly be

                 Except Love

This is a lovely poem and so true. Danke shen for the comment on my most recent poem "He said", I know I am blessed to have this one person that loves me like that. I do plan on staying with him for as long as we possible can, I love him as much as he loves me, and dont plan on letting anyone take that away. Keep writing, good job. ~Jese

Yes, so much truth here. Finding Mr. Right is of course the key, and that my dear, is the difficult part. But have faith, as I do believe angels hover above and send good things our way, in time. I am wishing you love. Wonderful write. Love, Shar
