Cotton Candy Clouds
Fluffy, cotton candy clouds sailing by Gallivanting filigree gracing sky So crucial is their role in all our lives Without the rain clouds we'd never survive. Clouds are a fascinating mystery Angel carpets, rising out of the sea Divinely elegant o’er earth they fly As the sun plays peek-a-boo up on high. I sit in peace watching clouds alter face Countless wealth of pictures swirling in space Images of loved ones who have passed on Cats, dogs, tigers or an enchanting swan. Fairy castles, as if sculptured from ice Is where Princesses drift in sleep at night Bluebirds and butterfly lend to the scene With fairy dust sprinkled over their dreams. There are times sky turns many shades of grey Changing as the wind blows clouds on their way Then the sun will appear and brightly shine Bringing joy to all hearts, that includes mine. *+*+*+*
"I see clouds as a movie in the sky, ever changing scenes on a world wide screen."

I did that as a child too and still do, it’s amazing what cloud formation brings into view. Thank you Mystic Rose… Belle - (As of yet the poem hasn’t been entered into a contest.)

Well done! I suspect all of the "Masters" learned their mastery of light and shadow by watching clouds drifting by . . . .

Thank you Anne-Lise, a lovely thought - angels wrapped in soft cotton cloud blankets, or taking a cloud carpet ride. Hugs, hope you’re improving health wise… Belle :-)

Pareidolia is a word I’ve never heard of before, looked it up and it is what you said it was. Thank you Tom. All’s well, enjoy the weekend too… Belle
