Cottage Paradise

Perhaps to dream of a cottage paradise,
The cottage stood there regal and tall.

A strong building built to last,
Within the structure of the cottage.

There was an old stove where you could cook and bake,
A comfortable living-room.

Where you could sit and read,
A table and chairs where the family had dinner.

Forever delicious food prepared by our beloved mother,
We could gaze out of the beautiful windows.

View the sandy shore of the lake.
A divine paradise silent and superior,

Father would say a prayer,
Completing the day's adventure.
