Cosmos Invasion
In consternation what comes next
Grave, hideous news so much perplexed
From cosmos beam of illusion
Reached brain with much confusion
So adamant, yet without goal
So indecisive not made whole
Electronic beams from outer space
My bring now rings wrong bells
My car won’t start
About me all depart
So helpless, rudderless I moan
“Help” my cry now into phone
Am I to build or now go home
Disoriented wander off and roam
Or do elect
To reconnect
In desperation shout love mankind.
My voice and message now go blind
I want to live and do my part
Where shall I go, where shall I start?
I’m isolated, lost
Return to civilized at any cost
And circumvent the rays confuse
And set my compass on to cruise
So if you find some lost soul in the outer space
Be kind and patient full of grace
It maybe me, it maybe you
For who in heaven know whose true?
