Cosmo in Summer
He has a double coat with fur thick and smooth
for winter he loves in the cold he's in his groove
But the summer heat makes me worry for him
because Cosmo never wants to come in
107 to hot for me, Sassy naps inside with the AC
but tanning in the Sun Cosmo silly is he can be
Have to get him in afraid of heat stroke
got plenty of drinking water this summer no joke
But Cosmo stands at the door wanting outside
sometimes he emits the softest whimper and cry
does he need to potty or is that cat outside
Out goes Cosmo right into the Sun
guess overheating for him is fun
Get him to come in when he's on a barking spree
It's to hot to bark Cosmo, but he ignores me
Get the big boy in and he lays on the bed
window AC cooling and blowing on his head
I scratch his chest he always wants more
Sassy sniffs him, smiling she he ignores
When I stop with delight he bites my hands
Cosmo in Summer hard to understand.
