Corruption On Fire

There is corruption that is suddenly on fire
Things are hanging from a very thin wire
Exposure is happening, more looming by the day
The fire is burning fiercely, as it is on its way
To Justice that many people will not like
Because they chose to believe, lies that strike
From the mouths of those who do not care
Out for themselves, money and nothing fair
There is division, but there is also great unity
For millions who are able to open their eyes to see
We’ve been manipulated, wronged in many ways
But our faith has not wavered in all of these days
God Bless America, with all that waits us ahead
Prayers for justice, safety, unity, and peace instead
To stifle this fire that so many others do ignite
We will hold onto freedom with every given right!

Artful exposure of a divisive topic… My take: We are morphing slowly into the old Soviet Union: Openly Socialist candidates for President; total distrust of government; faith only in the good American people---must as Soviets had faith only n the goodness of the Russian people.
