Corona

Have you ever imagined

being two meters away from me

looking at my eyes

and sigh

You miss me

I miss you

We can't shake hands

You can't hug me

I'm not allowed to touch your forehead

You are forbidden to whisper in my ears

There is Only fever

 Our hearts fever

Our bodies fever

And this damned virus

That turned our life

to the worst nightmare

And they insist on asking us

to leave a distance

between us

And I laugh

that they don't know

We are one

two bodies have one soul

and one pulsing heart

Glad to see you show others a way to deal with a situation they find hard to cope with. A very fine thought and poetry to be proud of. I am sure you have given many hope. Regards David in NZ

Corona virus has made us live the same pain.. go through similar suffering.. Humanity is going through a rough time.. may God bless, protect us and shower upon us His grace and mercy.. A wonderful poem! Form and substance.. enjoyed the read! My deepest regards and blessings.

It's the same virus, but I believe that the suffering differs though. Thank you :)
