Corner Bar

It was
 almost
three years

That
He sucked
the life
out
Of me

 I found
this corner
Bar where
I feel free

To be me

Introducing
Myself
as single
and free

Accepted
For being
Me

Verbally
Sparing
With

The buzzed
And
Mean
Spirited

You tell me
Who he is

A jerk
With a
Twerk

For winning
Verbal
Games

Pulling my
Hair
And putting
Me to shame

This corner
Bar doesn't
Look so
Inviting

I've got to

Move on
And keep on
Inviting

A new
Experience

On meeting
People like
Me
