Coppers aren’t supposed to cry

Raise me up and carry me home
There is no longer a reason to be alone
See me there with my head held high
Coppers aren’t supposed to cry

Those are the things I remember true
Stamped forever forming part of what I do
Bury it down or sliced out and thrown by
Coppers aren’t supposed to cry.
