Conviction

Conviction:

You make me weak
You make me strong
You make me want
to keep holding on
The time is now
The moment is real
A true conviction
of how one can feel

You’re the journey on an open road
Fearless traveler driving eyes closed
Gate keeper to a heart left trapped
A beautiful gift lying unwrapped

The moment so real
A true conviction of how one can feel

Restored in the company of laughter
Alluring in a single smile
Silent in a timeless presence
Measuring time, mile by mile

The moment so real
A true conviction of how one can feel

Honesty in the deepest words
Passion in the very best way
Touched with invisible touch
Closer and closer day after day

Conviction of a moment so real
A true conviction of me.
