Conversation With a Mirror
I am not your shadow.
I am a pale reflection of me.
My life is mine to lead.
Unlock the chains I want to be free.
I know i could be other than I am.
I have feet to stand on, I can walk.
I am not shy at all, I am scared.
not of how they think, do or talk.
its myself that holds the key.
to this lock upon my chain.
However much I try to change.
To be myself, My self must remain.
