Contrasting Dreams
Dreaming
In the underbelly
Of the night
Brings hope or
Sometimes desperation
Hope drifts in
On little cat feet
Roars out with
The pride of a lion
Desperation roars in
Like a ferocious tiger
Drifts out taking
Your sleep with it
