Continuum of Aliveness
When
awake
we discern,
using free will,
whilst during our sleep,
our response instinctive,
acts as of reflex fulcrum,
signalling that we should uplift
our consciousness by awakening,
with awareness unbroken at all times.
Once our waking state, thought rested silence,
witness consciousness feels each impulse
in time stretched stillness, thus tranquil,
slipping into deep sleep mode
retaining our free will,
with no more stupor
slowing down life,
enabling
us to
be.
