Continue To Dream
continue to dream
alone i anxiously await
aching to embrace once more
or simply cradle your face
the distance between us so long;
i must set a viable pace
so, so,grateful for the years we shared together;
this fuel enables me continued dreams ;
with which i can also reminisce
tears always spill onto your photos
whilst i weep;
tears drop from my face, splashing on to the photo
but then i see
your smiles ; and i have my memories;
now; my only strength
as i patiently wander these long lonely miles;
awaiting permission
to once again hold you, embrace
in the meantime;
i remain hopeful
smile each time i look at your photographed face
and continue to meet you in my dreams
share loves embrace
