Contentment

When you don't get
what you want
You want what you get
That is the golden rule
of life
Which makes you
always happy.
If you let go of that
want
Which you have, I can
bet
That with it to you will
come strife
Which will make all
things around you
flappy!

So, be contented with
that you have
Lest it be taken from
you with force
Or it be divided into the
halve
And returned to
another or the source!

So brethren, to be
useful and gay
Self contentment is the
sure way!

I like the wisdom in this poem. There can be no happy life if we do not practice contentment. Greed has no place in life- it only makes people want more. Well penned Idris!
