Contented In My Saviour
Contentment conveys such calmness
bringing peace to many a troubled soul
but real true contentment is divine
hold it tight make sure it's not stole
My experience throughout my life
that deep contentment is God given
His version is truly really satisfying
for it's free positively gospel driven
The centre focus of this contentment
is Jesus Christ Himself God's own son
the one who saved me from death
paid the ultimate sacrifice for sin is done
This Christ comes to live within
bringing peace mercy and grace
such power there is working within
transforms the inner self to heaven's face
My saviour is my life and song
keeping me calm at peace and strong
contented am I in Christ so great
walking hand in hand to heaven's gate
