Content Behind Walls
Become the clone you were meant to be
Give yourself away without a single plea
How the hell could you know who you are
While your ignorant looking to the stars
Look to the ones in charge
Because there is no way you can know
Who you are
Do you even wonder
What’s behind these walls
Are you so content
With feeling so small
They say to live your dreams
But why do I feel
So stuck
Within these seams
I am so sick of everyone
Buying into every lie
I’m so sick of everyone
Just living till they die
Why can’t anyone see
This isn’t what we’re made to be
Media defines what’s in and out
People follow without a doubt
Do you even wonder
What’s behind these walls
Are you so content
With feeling so small
They say to live your dreams
But why do I feel
So stuck
Within these seams
Giving yourself away like the rest
Cause you know you’ll never be the best
Following every single crowd
Never thinking out loud
Giving into these bullsh** lies
While inside your soul cries
Blaming everything on ourselves
Never to question anyone else
Too fat, too small, too religious, too different
So we all just stay ignorant
Fitting in this corrupted system
But what if we’re the victims
Do you even wonder
What’s behind these walls
Are you so content
With feeling so small
They say to live your dreams
But why do I feel
So stuck
Within these seams
I refuse to believe
I can’t wear my heart on my sleeve
I refuse to keep my thoughts inside
Just to fit into every single lie
Everyone who doesn’t fit in
Is so hated from within
I guess I will live life as a reject
Cause I refuse to be politically correct
I will live my faith out loud
And rise above the crowd
Do you even wonder
