His arm surrenders around my waist not capture, not lie down but as if, it's his natural instinct to do so and he's no more fighting it His hands lightly cascade down my hair a small admiration a soft sigh he tries to not gain my attention but I know, he loves it whenever my eyes meet his And I like it too, a tad bit more than I predicted His face brightens up like sunflowers he springs around my bed A child, A man A partner Every small gesture holds meaning A tiara of wildflowers A dance in the middle of the road He plays my favourite songs on the ride back home I laugh, I laugh so much these days I forget I was once a girl who cried over men He waits, not pushes He listens, not judge He's adorable, I pinch his cheeks and his face grows redder I smile, he smiles too and holds my hand in his sleep And this time finally, I don't feel like running away I don't feel like a burning building in middle of an earthquake I feel fine really Myself, and better I feel like I transported to a world where everything goes well, even when it doesn't because as I lay here besides him, I intertwine our fingers together and cuddle closer to him thankyou god thankyou god thankyou god for him...
