Contemptible Cuisine

Oh, Mother! Why are you such a rotten cook?
I tremble at the sight of this horrific gruel!
I dare say you are being jolly cruel!
Oh! God! Please get me off the hook!

Ivo This is a fun and silly write. But not nice picking on your mommy. Now call her and send love. LOL Thank you for the nice comment on my Sunlight poem.

This one made me laugh!... I'd say step up to the plate... and cook... But that may be cruel, too.

Thank you! This one is "fiction" though. Mother cooks fine & lives 6468 miles away from me. I''ve read your poem "The Library Man" recently & liked it a lot!!

Thankyou!! I haven't been to EllanVannin but I've been "sightseeing" Douglas & other areas with "GoogMaps StreetView" & its streets look amazing. I love Gaelg/Gailck & its relatives Gaeilge (Irish) and Gaidhlig (Scottish Gaelic).
