Contemplating Blue
In the ocean; so vast and blue.
I see a face that reminds me of you.
Between the waves that rise and fall,
I hear your voice, and I recall.
On the beach, I see a trace,
Of a smile, that was on your face.
In the clouds, floating over head,
I saw the joys, of our life ahead.
The crimson sails in the sunset be
A reminder of our lives to me
It’s all for naught, without you here.
You were what I held most dear.
Will I go on… is my life through?
The world is gray; we don’t have you.
