Contemplating

I worry about you
I don't know what you're thinking
you've been so distant
and I'm scared
because I know you
and I can't be there for you
you won't even look at me
I'm so helpless
because you're not within reach
I want to help
but I don't know how
all I can do is listen
but you're not talking
and I feel you may
soon be walking
because you're quiet
and you try to convince me
you're fine
but I don't buy it
I just hope you come around
and your problem can be found
and things will be okay
when you're ready
I'll be here to listen
to whatever you have to say
