Consumed

She says she wants a good guy, someone to treat her right,
She meets him, likes him but soon looks for faults,
Why is it that she is so broken?
Has he broken her into so many pieces, its almost impossible to be with another lad?
She asks so many question, yet is just told 'go with the flow',
If only they knew it was not that easy,
The battle she fights is with her own heart,
Trying to move on ,
But,
desires soon fade,
passion soon falls,
Why is it that all things beautiful soon lose its charm?
But, this is neither fatal nor final,
Oneday she will find solace within her heart,
and allow the past, to pass.
