CONSTELLATIONS
Haiku and Tanka
like an eye
into the universe
that far spiral galaxy
bright northern star
seeded by heaven’s angels
to announce the night
a billion stars
and beyond a zillion more
and beyond and beyond
what an artist god
he’s poked gadzillion holes
in the evening sky
that we may see
the light of heaven
such a celebration!
some giant firework explodes
each night
and showers sparks
through all creation
