Constance

Connie.....
the aunt of many words,
of wisdom,
last night i saw you
in a corner of
the living room,
just a small
silvery sliver
of light,
a ten second dance
of a fleeting moonbeam,
your presence
divine,
and quick,
just so you could let me know,
that for sure
you're where you're
supposed to be,
and that courageous heroine
that was you all along,
did a simple act
of jumping
right into the newness
of a brighter sphere,
without looking back.
