Consistent Lives

Could anyone, have done it better than the Queen?
In showing us how to live a consistent life,
A life that can be lived without a streak that is mean.

Could the commonwealth still have held some relevance?
It were not for the consistency of The Queen,
Even when the years began to advance.

Could anyone have given better service?
Or more consistency,
To a life lived with purpose.

If you agree,
I am sure she will be looking down on you,
With her usual amount of glee.

I truly respected Queen Elizabeth and found her to be so adapt at facing any situation in life, be it good, sad or bad. she was a loving child, parent and grandmother . She had been groomed to be a Queen from early in life and was ready to take the crown with a brave face though her heart was breaking that she had lost her father to whom she was close. Hard to think of her as not been physically with us anymore, but she had I think, earned her place in heaven. Hugs and blessings. Jennifer.

It is not easy being consistent in anything. I think that is a quality that gives potential to be great, that and hard work and determination. I have had moments of sheer brilliance but consistency has let me down. Thanks again for taking time to read and I hope one day you could see how I have looked after and displayed the stamps. Best regards David
