Consequences
Listen to poem:
meltwater
exhaled breath
warm remnant of kiss
inescapable consequences
ramifications off-ramp.
despite en garde, parry loop,
deflect dodge defy deny and cry;
relent now,
imbibe and savor the afterglow.
