Conscious Soul

Awake in wonderment
As my heart still lays dormant
I watch the hours on the clock
tick tock, tick tock
minute by minute
as the seconds pass
thy mind wanders
my soul twitches

A fire created ever so fierce
Penetrates so deep
Thy soul even creeps
It inhales its new breathes
Takes its first steps
Reaches new depths
Yet somehow virgin-like anew
Cautiously approaches each thought
Encroaching thresholds sought

A genuine soul
Ready, willing,
Screaming for thrilling
as my heart still lays dormant
Awake in wonderment
Very encapsulated
Exhaling freedom
Thought provoked
Ego stroked
conscious soul
Classical rhythm
Fire fierce
Pierce, just pierce

Peaceful, peace
Lustful, love
Fierceful, feast
Ferocious beast
awakened soul
Fire within
Enlightened light
Brightened bright

My soul aches
Screams for righteousness
The follower of good deeds
Planter of seeds
Sower of oats
just let it be
fire ignite

Conscious mind
you’re alright…
