Conscience

Why do you not allow for it to speak
For in your human spirit you are far too weak
With it all tied up and so conveniently set aside
It is as if your very own soul has up and died

Look at all the consequences of just such a way
And surely you don’t have to look very far today
For now that you have so little conscience left
Satan is now preparing for the ultimate theft

For God has given us all such an amazing gift
Yet in non use satan will slowly begin to sift
Call me a liar or yet call me a fool
But you are being used by satan like a garden tool

Bring this gift to bear against just such a demise
Allow yourself to finally hear the condemned’s tormented cries
Your conscience is here to show you The Way
Revealing your wicked way and telling you to pray

some people who do not pray have more of a conscience than those who pray falsely, but you are right. Those who are praying with pure hearts are the salt of the earth!
