Conscience
Holding firm the microscope of soul’s eye,
we looked at the cause of the pregnant pause,
that occurs just before childlike heart’s sigh,
each and every time when we break God’s laws,
counselling us till our consciousness thaws.
Within us immanent yet transcendent,
it’s that soft voice on which soul’s dependent,
steering us day and night, from wrong to right,
that we be at all times bliss resplendent,
radiating at all times, love and light.
