"conscience"

You can't see me
but you can hear me out,
I'm always around you
always helping you out,
I tell you the rights
and the wrongs,
what life
we're among,
you can follow
and I'll lead,
I'll show you
where to be,
keep your head up straight
and your eyes open wide,
my best advice is
to do what you try,
never lose hope
cause you need to succeed,
man, I'm your conscience
you gotta believe in me,
I know this life
to your left, to your right,
why do you think I'm here for,
just to entertain you every night?
I got your answers
to your questions
but you ain't hearing me out,
you're up in your life
trying to figure yourself out...
