Conquered Sensibilities

Indulge me, I am Calliope,
   igniting naked souls at heart
whilst poesy descends captive skies
    calling upon ecstatic harmonies
whence day gives way to nature's
    bounteous prolific profundity
    & ominous darkness of poetic
   blood smears' inky quiescency
 awaiting creative words to surrender
  wherewithal within spirited release,
boldness sans a wink's hesitation
  dripping 'tween entangled emotions
     sopping sentiments like sponges,
where curiouser minds relentlessly
 glean beyond conquered sensibilities

Sense and sensibility, grace and flexibility in amplitude of verse and meanings In magic circles like Calypso whose wings Still waves in the horizon of your dream Calliope- a wonderful poetry of tender hope.

Well I wish you would tell my muse to come back. Maybe she'll listen to you, since you are the boss. I can't glean without my muse:) This is quite funny, Paloma:)

Btw, I passed the message along, she'll be by anytime now, although she said you were fibbing. :)

Wow, Paloma, a really thought-provoking entry; writing can be such a difficult task at times. I must re-read this to get full impact. Great stuff!!!
