The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Connoisseur of Life

Conniosseur of Life

The vintage of our time begins
To sip and taste the wine of Life
To seek the essence of my search
and find a flavor I enjoy
It’s limpid sensuality
And all the sultry tastes of Love
To blend into a sweet bouquet
Ignoring all the dregs of gloom
A sediment that’s left to waste
To move into a sweet perfume
and swirling colors of our dreams
Drink of it’s substance and feel well
For dreams are connoisseurs of Life

Ralph, I love how you did YOUR wine poem. Mine is a bit stilted for following my form. With your free verse here, you were able to truly capture the essence of dreams and life! I hope this scores well in the contest.
