Connected In Their Dreams - Part 6
They were blissfully drifting in a sparkly cloud
Beyond the land and sea.
The horizon waved them "Bon Voyage!"
As they approached the land of fantasy.
There were many mystical creatures
Some very beautiful, some bizarre!
As their feet touched land they both felt
This would be their best dream by far...
They marvelled at the vast array
Of a mixed familiarity.
It was like genetics had been stirred
Forming beings of hilarity.
For example, to give you an idea
I'll describe a few for you.
A Cat with wings cantered along
For it had hooves and horses shoes.
There was a Pachyderm with a hand
At the end of its trunk.
It had a Squirrels tail and
Highland cow fur from chunk to chunk.
An Opal Unicorn emerged
From a pale pink pool.
When the sunlight stroked its back
It glowed rainbow - very cool!
Some of the flora was varied too
Giant Forget-me-nots had a Daffodil center.
Its leaves were like those of a rose...
They needed a tour guide or a mentor.
Together they mused over possible names
To call these species unique.
Their hands met and fingers intertwined
As their joy was at its peak.
A Pixie, just like Tinkerbell,
Thought this man very handsome.
She hurried along to separate their hands
And put on her best act to distract him.
They couldn't help but laugh
At this jealous Fairy's attempt.
Her entire body glowed hot red
As her fury fueled resent.
She summoned all of her Fairy friends
To separate these two if they can
But they began to mock and tease
"What about your fixation with Peter Pan?"
She stormed off in a glitzy rage
Even angry, she has style!
He blushed and chuckled when she went away
His girl amused, couldn't help but smile.
She teased, "If you ever say negative
Things about the way you look,
I'm gonna reference back to Miss Pixie Red.
Its all going in my book!"
They laughed and hugged, then out of the blue
The sparkly cloud reappeared
To take them back home to reality.
Up they flew and disappeared.
