Connected

Do you feel you are one with the trees
And maybe even one with the bees
Part of what blows through the leaves
And the cause of the waves in the seas
The birds they are high in the sky
Up where your spirit will fly
Though it can’t be seen by the eye
We will be there for sure bye and bye
I’d like to be part of a star
There are times I think we already are
The sun and moon seem so far
But the entrance has been left ajar
The brook it will roar so will I
The bird it will soar when I fly by
You can think it out, of course you can try
But in the silence is where the truths lie

Hello Barbara … a wonderful feel in your poem. Humanity needs to understand we are part of nature, not the God of nature - well done - Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, Thank you for taking the time to comment on my poem. Was not sure I was expressing very will what I wanted to convey. I enjoyed reading some of yours; especially Autumn leaves, and will be back for more. Have a blessed day. Barbara
