Congessman, How Dare You Say That

Congressman, How Dare You Say That! By Elton Camp About the facts, you apparently don’t care Social Security isn’t like being on welfare Since a lad, every month I’ve paid into it Therefore, now I am certainly entitled to it It was a system that I surely didn’t make I was compelled by the Feds to partake So how do you now come off feeling That I, somehow, benefits am stealing? First, cut your own pension and big pay Before us older folks you try to betray If you live, you will finally be old and gray I have to wonder if you’ll feel the same way
