Confusion

Confusion comes,
When there’s something unexplainable,
When straw connects from nose to table.
Confusion stuns,
When there are no answer,.
Finding no cure for cancer.
Confusion guns,
When needle presses to the vein,
When you can’t subdue the pain.
Confusion numbs,
Brain full of clouds,
The questions are so loud.
Confusion funds,
Those who search for clues,
Those who sell the booze.
Confusion stung,
All the souls that lost,
Suffering the costs.
Confusion runs,
When you reach the end,
When found a lost friend.
Confusion’s done,
When you pull the trigger,
When you life the finger.
Confusion came and went.
Confusion took and spent.
Confusion left the dent.
Confusion.. will never die.
And we’ll always ask the question.. why?

That repetition in your lines is extremely effective and powerful. Do you perform poetry on stage in some way? It feels that way. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
