Confusion

I try to cut the diamonds from my eyes They are still and can carry no lies I can't lie to myself, I am lost inside Wondering aimlessly through the night sky The stars in the heavens fade away with the light Try as I may I can't carry the night. A simple little wisper, so loud in my ears A simple little wisper, oh how I do fear I dream of the cowards running away Nothing left to save their sweet day Memories rolling backwards, fear in my eyes Promises broken, cutting my lifes ties Small cut on my chest, tears filling my face Oh someone help me out of this place Heart shattered in this luminous lake Gotta keep going, another chance I can take I deepen my breaths, slow the blood flow There is still amazement in me left to show I walk alone and let the sun warm my face My heart alone will help me out of this place
