-confusion-

Was innocent, at first
This is what my heart told my head
Try to remember what I did
Only remember the remorse in his eyes
The next time, I was wary
Things went a little to far
Had to of been my fault, was to confused to blame him
Felt love? around me when he held me afterwards
Evidence was clear
Somehow never registered, bell never dung
Little bruises on my arms, legs and body
Carefully placed, never visible to the outside

He tells me he loves me
He's sorry for the things that I make him do
I'm his forever more
No one will ever want me...Think, this must be true
I hear the stories, seen it in the movies
I'm in love with him, how could I leave him
Tell myself situation will get better, just have to watch my P's and Q's
Paula, I'm begging myself please don't make him angry
It hurts to much to bare
And makes it hard for me to swallow
