Ashley Smith Poet I do not know?

Confused

I can't explain the way I feel
Sometimes I can't believe it's real
When we are together I'm on cloud nine
But when we're apart you walk the line

I pretend I dont' see all the things you do
But how can you like her and like me too?
I've waited so long for that magical day
When you'd describe feelings you had held at bay

So why now do you take the chance
To try and have some "risky" romance?
When all along you've had my heart
Yet you only want it when we're forced apart

Now I have one single question for you
I think I know the answer, but tell me if it's true
Why do you fill me with all the hapiness I can take
Just to leave me alone with a bad heartbreak?
