Confrontation With Evil - Part I of 10 - the Beast

Part I -
Iambic Pentameter
abab rhyme scheme

O dark demented dreams I plea thee gone;
To leave this tortured mind at last alone.
No more the sick sadistic bleeds at dawn
Where tears have bared the marrow of my bone.

Your cursed cause I never will explain,
It belches up from deep below the earth
Where foul diminished demons proffer pain
And came to be carnality at birth.

Possess me not with weak and fetid force
Eccentric in its noxious, fading fate
For you must change direction--carve new course
And quickly flee from me through Satan's gate.

What sin has brought thy powers to my door?
My eyes can see but see no certainty,
But smell your Master's hell inside His whore;
A stench that rents the truth from sanity.

I will not bend or break to your desires,
You have no hold upon my life or soul,
I will begin and consummate the fires
That leaves you only ash but leaves me whole.

With alabaster angels from above,
So take your final leave or lose all hope
While smited by the Lord's eternal love.

I banish all your beastly, bastard ways
From now on through a cold eternity.
The evil done has seen its evil days
But now you'll see a new reality.
