A murderer was asked
by a father,
"When you killed my boy,
did you send him 
to heaven or hell?"
And the murderer replied,
"While he lived,
did you send him
to heaven or to hell?"

This is startling. and wise, yet a little tough on the father of a murdered son.

None is guiltless, and we participate directly in the joys and sorrows of others. One can kill without death, all at once or a little at a time. This poem caused me considerable reflection. Thanks.

this is a good write, it makes the reader ponder so many thoughts from different angles... id the father raised him right and he followed a good path, he went to heaven...on the flip side, the pain of murder had to be Hell...powerful questions linger on...well done

The answer is neither of them sent him to heaven or hell for he had to chose which way he would go...I hope that he chose Jesus for He is the way, the truth and the life..Enjoyed reading your question..Of course, the parents influence the child but the ultimate choice is each individual's responsibility..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara
