Conflict
A siege within,
where the head and heart clash,
a labyrinth of doubt, a sudden flash Of fierce conviction.
Which path to trace?
The heart, a flood of tides, a storm's embrace,
Or the calculated flight of the head?
This daily, frantic rhythm, marked by time,
Until a still, small voice, a whispered truth,
Reveals the balance sought since early youth.
For sight and scent,
though different,
both define The world we know;
For in this duality lies the balance of our choices.
