Confine But Never Define

The walls that confine me
Will never define me
I'm more than the skin I own

The thoughts that dwell in me
Will someday heal me
Then unite my heart and soul

The hatred that grew in me
Will never end me
I've learnt to let it go

The world that surrounds me
Will always show me
That love can win after all
