Confessions of a Cinephile
The hero chases the girl of his dreams to the airport. He gets on a random taxi and he just can't wait to hug her and tell her that she is truly the one who gets him on his toes.
Whoa, hold on, did he pay for the cab? If yes, when? Does the driver not care?
When they were kids, she couldn't say it
When they grew up to be the most adorable highschoolers, she couldn't say it
He hit a glow up and got voted the sexiest man in the town! But oh she still couldn't say it
Alas, in her 30s, she stands right in front of him. Eye to eye. The whole world is in deep calm with only their breaths being heard. She takes his hand and finally confesses that he is the only one she has loved and...
Wait a damn minute!
Why are there two flowers on my screen?
Why is it covering them? What are they doing back there?
Max has been waiting 2 years in the upside down. When Lucas is finally visible and she found the door to the real world. RUN MAX RUN!!!!
And... She chooses not to run?
Mr. Director, why on earth is she walking after a 10 minutes heartfelt speech?
What is up with these movies that break logicality along with fourth-walls
How do people gather to dance when the hero starts to dance out of nowhere?
Does it actually take just one scene of 'a confession in the rain' for a girl to forgive her cheating ex? Also who timed the rain for their happy ending kiss?
It is with great disappointment that I call out a few top directorals and script works of the Cinemas. I am a movie bluff and this is my raw take.
